Finding Your Church Family

Joining a local Christian community fosters spiritual growth and connection. It provides a supportive space to deepen one's faith through shared worship, prayer, and study of Scripture. Such communities offer encouragement during life's challenges and celebrate joys together, creating a sense of belonging.

Christian community reflects the biblical call to fellowship and unity, embodying love and compassion.

Why Shepherd?

A message from Pio:

Shepherding new believers into Jesus’ family is something that I am passionate about doing. As the “new souls” pastor at my church for the last ten years I have gained a lot of experience in this area. While I have always known that discipleship is important, I have come to know how vital it is in the Great Commission and that discipleship has not been given the emphasis it needs.

Many people are left to fend for themselves - spiritually - and are not properly discipled. The Promise for them to be “up on the mountain of faith” and experience an encounter with their Creator has been limited because their spiritual pathways are not intentional. Many new believers either wander around aimlessly in the “desert of life” or worse – they “return to Egypt” (their old life). This is also a major setback to the body of Christ because instead of “bearing fruit”, believers will end up working against the kingdom.

Throughout the past years - by the grace of God - I have prayerfully used various materials and resources and methods to help people navigate through the journey of Awareness of their Heavenly Father to a Decision to believe in Jesus as their Saviour and to an initial Encounter with the Holy Spirit.

And so, I am leading this new ministry - Shepherd - to work with people to build spiritual pathways and connect them to the Body of Christ. Shepherd will stand in the “discipleship gap” that exists in the church today. We aim to collaborate with churches to accomplish the Great Commission together.

The journey to the mountain of encounter

“This is the sign that I am the one who sent you. When you have brought the people out of Egypt you will worship God at this very mountain.’’ Exodus 3:12

Church Leaders

Shepherd aims to collaborate directly with local churches by standing in the “discipleship gap” connecting lost souls to the Body of Christ and working with people to build spiritual pathways.
As in Ephesians 4, we want to do our part to the support the body of Christ into maturity. In everything we do, we strive for unity within the Church – we aim to be a supporting limb – and work with churches to fulfill the Great Commission.

We believe in what we doing and have a clear and simple purpose. This purpose sets us apart to do what we are called to do and we have the assurance of the Lord as he said in the Great Commission that he will be with us to the very end of the age.

A mature and unified Body of Christ

“…we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Ephesians 4: 15-16

The Great Commission

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
